Perpetual Adoration for Holy Week

Palm Sunday, 5th April to Easter Sunday, 12th April 2020

This Holy Week the bishops and priests of the Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy
will undertake a national campaign of Perpetual Adoration.
Every hour, a priest will be keeping watch before the tabernacle of his church,
praying for the Catholics of Australia and for an end to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Announcements relating to COVID-19 outbreak

It is with great regret that the Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy has decided to cancel
the Annual Conference scheduled for 20-24 July as well as the Clergy Retreat scheduled for 6-11 September 2020.

Welcome

Welcome to the digital home of the Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy. We are an association for Catholic bishops, priests and deacons of the dioceses of Australia. The ACCC is proudly supported by many lay and religious associate members. Through The Priest, our annual Conference, and many local activities, the Confraternity promotes the sanctification and fraternal life of the clergy in fidelity to the teaching of Christ Jesus and His Church.

Join the Confraternity

The Australian Confraternity of Catholic Clergy offers two membership categories.
Full membership is available to diocesan bishops, priests and deacons.
Lay faithful, consecrated religious and seminarians are invited to register as Associate Members.

Twice a year the ACCC publishes a journal titled The Priest. Beautifully presented, it features news about the life of the Confraternity as well as various articles and papers presented at our Annual Conferences. While some content from previous editions is available online, the latest content is exclusive to the current print edition. Subscription to The Priest is included in full or affiliate membership of the ACCC.
